Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is an independent financial institution aimed to aid the growth and development of micro, small and medium-scale enterprises in India. It is the apex body and nodal agency for formulating, coordination and monitoring the policies and programme for promotion and development of small scale industries.

• SIDBI’s Fixed Deposit Scheme is rated ‘AAA(FD)’ by CARE indicating highest safety of Investments
• Nomination facility available on Single & Joint Deposits by Individuals
• TDS exemption for income upto Rs. 5,000
• Direct Credit of Interest to Depositor’s Bank Account through ECS, wherever facility available and requested by the investor
• Higher rates of interest for Senior Citizens
• Minimum amount of Deposit – Rs.10,000 and in multiples of Rs.1,000 thereafter
