Dial 181 – The New Women Helpline in Delhi

Women Helpline in Delhi

Thanks to the non-stopping protests from all walks of the society demanding “Safety for Women” – Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has launched a new three digit “Women in Distress” Helpline – 181.

Following are the features of 181:

  1. Now women can directly complaint to the Delhi Chief Minister
  2. Can be dialed from land-line and mobile round the clock

I hope this helpline functions effectively and does not die out like the other previous helplines.
