6 Websites for e-filing Income Tax Return Online for AY 2014-15

It’s month of July and as every year we need to file our tax returns again for FY 2013-14 (AY 2014-15) by July 31, 2014. And I am sure many of you still might be wondering where to start? Well in this post I would list 6 websites which you can use to file your income tax returns.

I am fan of cleartax.in and I used its service last year.

They have made the process really simple. As most of us get Form 16 online now, you need to upload this Form 16 to the website; it automatically picks the relevant fields from that and fill the income tax return form for you.

You just need to check if all the values are correct and proceed to next. If you want to add some income or exemption which is not in your Form 16, you can add that manually.

Based on your income details, it automatically selects the right IT return form for you. I think this is as easy as it can get especially for people with only salaried and/or interest income.

The advantage is you need not share your data with any third party websites. You can never be sure of the data security no matter what other websites claim.

I personally use ClearTax.in to e-file my Income Tax returns and I find the site very easy to use. But if you have time and understand the application on Income Tax Website, you should use that.
