With rising importance Aadhaar, it is also eye candy for fraudsters mainly for identity theft. Thankfully UADAI, the authority which controls Aadhaar has come out with this new service where you can track your Aadhaar usage for last 6 months.<\/p>\n

Type of Aadhaar Verification:<\/h2>\n

\u00a0Aadhaar can be verified in the following ways:<\/p>\n

Demographic (based on Name, Gender, Date of Birth, and Address):<\/strong> <\/span>When you submit Aadhaar to insurance company, EPF, Mutual funds, these organizations verify the same form UADAI database.<\/p>\n

One-Time Password (Through the use of one-time password):<\/strong> Used while linking your Aadhaar card to your bank account, insurance, etc<\/p>\n

Biometric (Through fingerprints or IRIS):<\/strong> Used while opening bank account or getting a new SIM.<\/p>\n

Combination of the above 3 methods:<\/strong> There can be two or more combinations of above verification methods.<\/p>\n

Dynamic OTP through\u00a0mAadhaar app<\/a>:<\/strong> Dynamic OTP can be used in some cases like while changing address in Aadhaar.<\/p>\n

How to check Aadhaar Verification History?<\/h2>\n

You can easily check the Aadhaar Authentication\/Verification history by following the following steps.<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> <\/span>Visit UADAI Aadhaar portal<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong><\/span> Click on Aadhaar Authentication History<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong><\/span> Enter your Aadhaar number and security code<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong><\/span> Select the type of Verification (You can select ALL). Select the date range (Maximum allowed is last 6 months). Select the Number of Records (Maximum is 50 records).<\/p>\n
