RBI (Reserve Bank of India) would soon launch Banknotes with following\u00a03 New Security Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. New Numbering Pattern<\/strong> – The banknote numbers will be ascending order in size from left to right.\u00a0The first three alphanumeric characters are constant in size and then the numerals get increasing in size.<\/p>\n

2. Bleed Lines<\/strong> – Angular Bleed Lines on both left and right of the front side of the notes. There would be 4 lines in Rs 100, 5 lines in Rs 500 and 6 lines in Rs 1,000 denominations.<\/p>\n

3. Enlarged Identification Mark<\/strong> – The identification mark would be bigger now. There would be Triangle on Rs 100, Circle on Rs 500 and Diamond on Rs 1,000 notes.<\/p>\n

The New features would help the visually impaired in easy identification of banknotes and also secure currency notes\u00a0against counterfeiting.<\/p>\n
